Copella and Pride of Britain at the Hampton Court Flower Show!
- Posted: July 13th, 2010
Last week Standout visited the Hampton Court Flower Show where two of our clients – Copella and Pride of Britain Hotels – were exhibiting.
Copella had designed and created a beautiful garden, which Standout brought to life on the the Copella website in a section dedicated to the Hampton Court Show. The team at Standout had been working on closely with Copella on the site creative for the show, so it was great for them to be able experience the final designs. Copella collaborated with acclaimed garden designer Sadie Stowell who created their garden. Sadie has been working with Standout to pick the ‘Garden Gallery’ competition winners each week. It was great to meet her and the team at the Show and have a personal tour of the garden and the variety of plants that were used. This year’s garden was designed to attract and support honey bees which are at present suffering a sharp decline in population. The layout of the space took inspiration from the rhythms of the bee’s ‘waggle dance’ whilst the overarching concept reflected the journey from plant to hive. The main focal element in the garden was an interactive sculptural building which took inspiration from a natural bee hive.
For more information on the garden, plants and how to create your own bee-friendly garden, visit our pages on the Copella website. Standout captured some great photography of the garden and a walk through video which will be shortly be added to the Copella website.
Pride of Britain Hotels chose to exhibit at the Hampton Court Flower Show, and were showcasing their range of hotels within the consortium. Standout designed an exclusive Hampton Court Flower Show booklet, and all of the stand graphics which were to represent the premium design and quality of the Pride of Britain Hotels member’s list.
