Christine Burroughs

PA & Account Executive .

Christine has recently taken on the role as PA to Managing Director, Dan Barber. Christine joined Standout in 2009, as an English Literature graduate, with a background in education and originally started as administrator for one of the client teams.

She continues in this capacity as Administrator for Milsom Hotels and Restaurants. I really enjoy the variety of both my roles, and the two work really well together. Of a pastoral nature, and having trained to go into teaching, I find it easy to balance looking out for people, and being efficient simultaneously! I love working at Standout, the team are fantastic – and the many different characters we have here at Standout make work a lot of fun!

Tell us something we’d never normally know:
I speak French! My Dad grew up in France, and decided to bring us up bilingual too, so I didn’t speak to my Dad in English until I was 12!

Favourite book:
For a literature student this is a pretty tough question, but I’d have to say that at the moment I’m loving T.S.Eliot’s The Four Quartets (technically a poem!)

Favourite time of year:
Definitely autumn. I love the changing colours of the leaves, and the way that autumn sunlight has that same summer’s evening magic!
