Marc Taylor

Senior Web Designer.

Originally from Cornwall, Marc joined Standout in 2008 after having graduated with 1st class honours in Web and New Media. Marc leads the front end build of websites and ECRM/Email campaigns, develops design work and manages our domains and hosting environments.

I’m particularly interested in how viral advertising is being used in the Virtual Community, YouTube and what might this tell us about the way people communicate in a virtual environment. My aims are to create the most aesthetically pleasing work that is both accessible and easy to use.

What is the best thing about working at Standout?
Working alongside people who are talented and passionate about the work they produce. It can be very hard work but it is always worthwhile when you see clients reactions.

What is your favourite time of year, and why?
When you are nearing the end of the Summer, when you are trying to cram the most into days which you know are ultimately getting shortly.

What is your favourite film?
I heart Huckerbees. Great film, brilliant cast and interesting storyline about coincidences.
