BRIEF
To create a unique design concept for an in store POS kit to launch the ‘Beautiful Collection’ in Triumph retail stores. The collection was made up of a range of bright and contrasting materials and colours. The challenge was to develop a creative presentation that allowed these unique products to be merchandised in store collectively (products are usually grouped by colour).

DESIGN BRIEF
The design of this was to work with/off each of the new products to be available in store, to unify the collection to be able to sell the individual products in store together. This was a difficult task as the products were varied in colour and patterns, however a beautiful design was created by incorporating elements from each product such as polka dots, colours, softness and texture.

SOLUTION
Our first concepts were to create a visual for Beautiful. The concept was based (very loosely) around a combination of Charlie and Lola (parents will understand this!) and a fresh floral approach. The concept for the visual was established in the first kick off meeting with the client, this was then briefed into the Account Management team which then translated perfectly through the offline creative team, under the watchful eye of Rob Eccles (Standout Creative Director).

STANDOUT’S ROLE
This project went through the following processes from the original brief provided to STANDOUT, to the final creation and delivery to Triumph:

  • Brainstorming and concept creation
  • Design of the POS campaign
  • Creation of the full POS campaign
  • Artworking of each of the elements
  • Production of each of the elements
  • Delivery to store
  • Reflection of the POS campaign into the online design on Triumph’s digital assets

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In order to ensure this project was completed to only the highest standards expected, the Triumph team went to the Triumph Cheltenham retail store to view the work that had been created for them. It was fantastic! Not only were the products beautiful, but the artwork that had been created reflected an element of beauty from each product.

THE IMPACT OF OUR WORK
This promotion had fantastic results and was seen to be hugely successful for Triumph. The full POS campaign was very well received by Triumph, and the Beautiful collection continues to sell strongly throughout this quarter. Triumph are now in discussion to continue this range to external retail stockists due to it being received so well with Triumph customers.
