BRIEF
To design an exhibition stand for Triumph at Moda, a clothing trade exhibition and key opportunity for Triumph to communicate the brand activity, attract new buyers and increase orders from current retailers. Key messages to be included: TIA (Triumph Inspiration award), AW10 collections and the launch of a new product called ‘Shape Sensation’.

SOLUTION
Standout’s creative team first examined each of the three key messages to be included to understand what it was they represented and how best they could be communicated individually, but presented as a simultaneous message.
TIA’s scheme is to discover new design talent in the lingerie sector, Shape Sensation uses new design and technology to enhance the shape of a woman, and AW10 is the latest collection to be created. All of which suggest an innovative and contemporary message. With this is mind the team chose colour ways, graphics and methods of presenting the graphics (such as montages) that conveyed this.

STANDOUT’S ROLE
This project went through the following processes from the original brief provided to STANDOUT, to the final creation and delivery of the stand graphics for the Moda Exhibition:

  • Creation of the overall look and feel
  • Site visits
  • Selection of key visuals
  • Art direction
  • Creation, proofing and amends of visuals
  • Artwork to specifications including supply to third party
  • Project management

THE IMPACT OF OUR WORK
The stand design was exceptionally well received both internally by the sales team and GM, and externally with several compliments from competing brands present, as well as strong leads from a number of new interests.

The Triumph International stand won Best Clothes Show Exhibitor 2009!
