Working at Standout.
We're a small and diverse team - little imbalanced on the gender front (mostly male!), but very balanced in every other sense. Our workspace is based at the Phoenix Square Art Cinema and Creative Hub, with a café that's open all-day, every day with an excellent menu, great coffee and an eclectic selection of wines and beers. The atmosphere within the building is energised, creative and collaborative with many different types of creative businesses located throughout the workspaces. The café and cinema (downstairs) are open to the public so there is always good energy and a calm hustle and bustle about the place.
Life is predominantly about living and work should not dominate or burden any individual. Flexibility is important for all staff and our hours are generally 8am - 6pm depending on whether you're an early bird or prefer to work a bit later. We provide excellent holiday with bank holidays in addition, you never have to work on your birthday, we offer a competitive pension contribution, healthcare for individuals and family when you have children, and we run a quarterly bonus scheme for the entire team.
We expect commitment, honesty, effort, support, collaboration, openness, ideas and creativity. Above all we want people who will contribute to the energy of our organisation - strictly no energy drainers!
Over the next six to 12 months we'll be adding two people to our production team and welcome applications from individuals with a hybrid of skills that span design, creative art working, digital design and Wordpress. Essential is the use of Adobe's Creative Suite, as well as a minimum of five years' experience and an outstanding portfolio of work. We're a small team and so it's vital that there's a good fit from a cultural and chemistry perspective. We have zero politics, no overpowering egos and a collaborative approach to all that we aim to achieve.
If you would like to interview for one of our future production positions, please send your approach letter and CV to us. [email protected]
